Important notes
Stars are for the whole Joplin monorepo (clients + server), not the server alone. Server code under packages/server carries its own Personal Use License (non-commercial) per packages/server/LICENSE.md, separate from the repo default AGPL-3.0-or-later. Official Docker deployment uses the joplin/server image with PostgreSQL (docker-compose.server.yml); no official hardware minimum stated (checked 2026-10-24); estimates based on app + PostgreSQL containers. Stars approximate as of 2026-10-24.
